In Baghankheda village, after a mutual dispute, the mother threw her two-year-old daughter from the roof to trap her sister-in-law. Fortunately, the girl fell on a pile of mud, which saved her life. The police registered a case of attempted murder against the woman and arrested her. She had hatched a conspiracy to send her sister-in-law to jail by killing her daughter.
Nagendra, a resident of the village, works as a labourer. On Saturday evening, his wife Savita had a quarrel with her sister-in-law. Some time after the quarrel was over, Savita went to the roof with her two-year-old daughter and threw her down. She alleged that her sister-in-law had thrown her daughter. When the police began investigating, it was found that at the time when the girl was thrown down, Savita’s sister-in-law was outside the house. Many witnesses also came forward to the police. Due to this, Savita’s allegation was found to be false. Then the police interrogated Savita strictly. Savita confessed to throwing her daughter. On the complaint of Inspector Arjun Singh, a case was registered against Savita and action was taken.
She said- she was so angry that her hands did not shake while throwing her daughter from the roof
When the police questioned the accused Savita, she said that she had a lot of arguments with her sister-in-law. That is why she was very angry with her. She wanted to teach her sister-in-law a lesson in any way. So when the argument happened, she thought that she would throw the daughter from the roof and accuse her sister-in-law of killing the daughter. Savita also said that she was so angry with her sister-in-law that she did not feel any mercy while throwing the daughter.
The girl didn’t even get a scratch
The girl was thrown down from the first floor. She fell on a pile of mud. She was rushed to the hospital. The doctors said that the girl did not have any serious injury, let alone a scratch. The villagers were saying – ‘Jaako rakhe saiyan, maar sake na koi’ (No one can harm the one whom God protects).
